During the pandemic, we have learned that the tourism industry has been hit harder than any other sector. We also know that it is not just crucial to many economies around the world, it is also an important accelerator of social progress.
The industry is a driving force when it comes to job creation and it can help to build up infrastructure and improve the social system every society needs to prosper.
The What Works Tourism Summit will tackle a resilient, inclusive and sustainable rebuild of the tourism industry which has been hit tremendously during the Covid-19 pandemic, During previous months it has shown that tourism plays an important role in advancing social progress.
How do we make sure social and environmental concerns are at the heart of recovery efforts? How do we identify, replicate and scale What Works?
