General Statement Cognitio ltd fully respects your right to privacy. Cognitio ltd, is responsible for the operation of the international Summit What Works in SPI in cooperation with Social Progress Imperative (Host). The Host fully respects your right to privacy.

It will not collect or publish any personal information about you through its homepage or homepages related to its activity without clear permission. Any personal information which you volunteer to the host will be treated with the highest security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance to the latest data protection acts.

Personal information – collection and use
The data which identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you may include your name, address, email address, IP address in circumstances where they have not been deleted, clipped or anonymised, telephone number. Such kind of information is only collected from you if you voluntary submit it to us.

We will process any Personal Data you provide to us for the following purposes:

  • To send you our newsletter

  • To send you news or announcements

  • To communicate with you about Cognitio´ s services


Collection and use of technical information

The web page of What Works Summits uses temporary “session” cookies which enable a visitor´s web browser to remember which pages on this website have already been visited. No other information is stored in the cookie. Visitors can use this website with no loss of functionality if cookies are disabled for the web browser. Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged by our internet service provider for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to personally identify website visitors. The technical details logged are confined to the following items:

  • the IP address of the visitor’s web server

  • the top-level domain name used (for example .ie, .com, .org, .net)

  • the previous website address from which the visitor reached us, including any search terms used

  • Google analytics which shows the traffic of visitors around this website (for example pages accessed and documents downloaded)

The Host – Cognitio in name of the event What Works Summit will make no attempt to identify individual visitors, or to associate the technical details listed above with any individual. It is the policy of the Host never to disclose such technical information in respect of individual website visitors to any third party (apart from our internet service provider, which records such data on our behalf and which is bound by confidentiality provisions in this regard), unless obliged to disclose such information by law. The technical information will be used only by the Host of What Works Summit, and only for statistical and other administrative purposes

Updating, Verifying and Deleting Personal Data You also have a right to have your personal data corrected, if inaccurate, or in certain circumstances, erased.
