The first international gathering to learn from communities and countries was held in April 2016 in Reykjavík. 

In cooperation and with great support from private and public identities this journey started. 
 
It was then Cognitio and Social Progress that took this collaboration further created a great platform together under the name of The Global Summit of What Works
Together, this fantastic platform created which is now 2022 starting to go global
